With everyone staying home cooking and baking, we’d love to share your creations. If anyone has any photos or recipes they’d like to share with fellow market-goers, please email them to us at info@vccfm.org

Everyone is doing a great job but we just received new protocols on April 13th that are requiring stricter crowd control.

Please observe the following rules and we thank you for your cooperation:

#1) LINES ARE TOO LONG. UNLESS YOU NEED EGGS, PLEASE WAIT AN HOUR BEFORE YOU COME TO THE MARKET. DON’T WORRY, FARMERS HAVE PLENTY OF PRODUCT.

#2) PLEASE WAIT OUTSIDE THE MARKET, PREFERABLY IN YOUR CAR, UNTIL THE MARKET OFFICIALLY OPENS.

#3) PLEASE REFRAIN FROM GATHERING AND WAITING IN THE AISLE WAYS.

#4) PLEASE LIMIT YOUR SHOPPERS IN THE MARKET TO JUST ONE PERSON.

#5) PLEASE AVOID COMING TO THE MARKET IS YOU HAVE A COUGH OR FEVER.

#6) PLEASE MAINTAIN A 6 FOOT DISTANCE AT ALL TIMES.

#7) PLEASE SNEEZE OR COUGH INTO A CLOTH TISSUE OR YOUR ELBOW.

#8) DON’T SHAKE HANDS AND AVOID ANY UNNECESSARY PHYSICAL CONTACT.

The Market is Open Rain or Shine Noon to 5 PM, The Oaks Shopping Center, East End Parking Lot under strict health and safety protocols and monitoring the number of people inside the market. Please observe the following rules:

1) NO CUSTOMERS CAN BE IN MARKET AREAS UNTIL THE OPENING BELL AT THE START OF THE MARKET. PLEASE WAIT IN YOUR CAR UNTIL THE MARKET OPENS.

2) LIMIT THE NUMBER OF FAMILY MEMBERS IN YOUR GROUP. PLEASE SEND ONE FAMILY SHOPPER SO THE MARKET AREAS CAN BE OPEN FOR OTHERS.

3) ATTEND LATER IN THE MORNING - ANYTIME AFTER THE FIRST TWO HOURS IS MUCH SAFER WITH LOWER ATTENDANCE. WE NEED TO STAGGER OUR CUSTOMERS THROUGHOUT THE DAY. DON'T WORRY THE FARMERS HAVE LOTS OF PRODUCE AND THEY RESTOCK ALL DAY LONG. THE ONLY ITEMS IN LOW PRODUCTION ARE EGGS AND THEY USUALLY SELL OUT IN 1.5 HOURS.

4) TOUCH ONLY YOUR PURCHASES - OR HAVE FARMER BAG YOUR PRODUCE FOR YOU.

5) SHOP QUICKLY AND WITH PURPOSE AND KNOW WE WOULD LOVE TO CHAT AT ANOTHER TIME.

6) BRING SMALL BILLS TO PAY WITH EXACT CASH WHENEVER POSSIBLE.

7) BRING A SHOPPING LIST. BE READY TO TELL OUR STAFF OR FARMERS EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED TO EXPEDITE YOUR PURCHASES.

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you at the market!
